Real estate appraisal is the independent and impartial evaluation of the value of real estate belonging to legal entities or individuals or public institutions and organizations by an appraiser within the framework of the current legislation rules, by selecting the most appropriate appraisal method for the real estate, and preparing the appraisal report on a specific date.
Real estate appraisal guides individuals and institutions in the need to determine the correct value for sales and rental transactions, legal transactions, tenders, independent auditing and financial reporting processes of companies, company mergers and purchases, investment decisions and many other needs.

Real Estate Appraiser
Real Estate Appraisers are individuals who evaluate a real estate, a real estate project or the rights and benefits attached to a real estate. Valuers are authorized by different institutions in each country and can also obtain different licenses with international validity. The most important of these are MRICS/FRICS (Member/Fellow of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), REV (Recognised European Valuer-TEGOVA) and MAI (Member of Appraisal Institute).

TEGOVA
A pan-European association of professional bodies working for standards, ethics and quality in the real estate valuation market. Drafting and promoting European Valuation Standards (EVS) for adoption across Europe, and recommending a standard approach to valuation methodologies. TEGOVA represents the interests of qualified valuers of 76 professional bodies from 40 countries.
Appraisal Institute
The Appraisal Institute is the leading professional association of real estate appraisers. The Appraisal Institute was established in 1991, when the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers (AIREA) and the Society of Real Estate Appraisers unified. AI community includes real estate appraisers and property analysts who provide valuation related services to mortgage lenders, financial institutions, government agencies, attorneys, financial planners and others.
